We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Castleview cottage. The cottage is beautiful. We even managed an hour on the balcony in November taking in the fantastic views. The cottage had everything we needed. We will definitely be back. Thank you

Denise ,

We had a lovely mini break, cottage is lovely. Very comfy bed. Nice and warm. Great shower. Even managed some time on the balcony when the sun came out which for November is a bonus. Thank you

Sandra and Colin Cliff,

Beautiful homely cottage with everything we needed as a family with 2 young kids. There was so much to do in Conwy & surrounding areas, we especially enjoyed the ghost walk and zipworld. Lots of choice on places to eat and shops to mooch about. Highly recommend castle hotel for Sunday dinner, and it was lovely coming back to a comfy, warm and peaceful cottage for cheese and biscuits from the local deli and to play some family games. Would highly recommend.

Georgia,

We have just returned from a wonderful break at Castleview. The cottage is cosy and homely. The views from the balconies are wonderful and we especially enjoyed sitting at the top in the evening listening to the birds and Spotting the bats after dark! Our son especially loved the access to the castle walls and many a sword fight was won to defend it!
Conwy is a beautiful town and we enjoyed all it has to offer including the castle, Smallest house and many of the bars and restaurants.
We will certainly be back!!!
Many thanks to Jackie for looking after us and welcoming us to her beautiful cottage.

Laura, Ben and Joey,

Beautiful location in a beautiful place, 5 mins walk from the beach and the castle is a must visit! i would 100% stay here again as it was perfect with a beautiful balcony over looking the castle and ocean. keep your eyes peeled at night time as you might see a little bat!

Jaymi (Airbnb),

Just enjoyed my second stay at the cottage. I love Conwy and coming back felt like visiting a second home. Spent one day just sat reading on the terrace and conversing with the visitors walking the walls. The evenings are so peaceful you could hear a pin drop. Will be back at some point in the future!

Joanne Roden,

Castle view cottage is a lovely, peaceful spot in the heart of Conwy, very doable by public transport and easy access to walks. It is spotless, well thought-out and cosy with a fire for warmth and a balcony for sunshine and that castle view. Jackie is a great host.

Julia (Airbnb),

Thanks, Jackie. We hiked the Great Orme, climbed the South Stack Lighthouse, took day trips to several small villages, played around and explored in Conwy, had great food, relaxing massages and facials and found friendly people wherever we were. You have created a warm and restful space in a lovely town.

Kay (Airbnb),

Just got back from a long weekend stay at Castleview Cottage. Can honestly say WOW what a nice hidden gem. Booking and communication with Jackie was perfect from the start , instructions spot on , we had no trouble finding the cottage gaining entry etc and was lovely and warm when we arrived on a chilly Friday evening. We even managed to park everyday on the street even with a very big kia sorrento (mostly due to my husbands driving skills lol) but there is plenty of parking very close by if you not so confident. The Cottage is fully equipped with anything you would need. Being from Manchester we visit Conwy a lot and have walked many times around the walls and seen the cottage so glad we finally decided to book it as if meant we could venture further down Wales which we wouldn't normally do on a day out . Thank again Jackie for sharing your amazing home and I am sure we will be back again to stay. ..... If your thinking about booking the Cottage STOP thinking and do it ..... Sandra & Norm March 2024

Sandra Greatorex,

Well, what can we say. . . . From start to finish the experience was fantastic. Easy to understand booking system, great price. This quaint little property couldn’t be in a better location for anyone looking to stay in what feels like a real part of English and Welsh history. The property itself was very well equipped, very warm and welcoming. We stayed in February and although it was sunny outside it was rather fresh let’s say so to walk into an already warmed home we instantly felt relaxed and comfortable. There was so much todo in Conwy we ould have stayed a few more days to enjoy a few more pubs and restaurants or even just relax on the peaceful home that Jackie our host provided. We all look forward to another visit to this cottage for maybe a longer stay in the near future. I could go on and on but it’s all positive, I recommend anyone a stay in this wonderful cottage and a trip to Conwy is a must. Keep up the good work guys and don’t change a thing, it was perfect for us adults and children too.

Evans Family,

The cottage is just wonderful and we had a great Half Term break with the kids here. Would highly recommend it just for the magical location, but it is also lovely inside and out and the photos on the website really don't do it justice. We really look forward to coming again as there was so much to do as a family and we just didn't have enough time to pack everything in!

Lynn Kerr,

Loved my stay at Castleview Cottage.
Very clean and comfortable. Had a fab time visiting the castle, walking the town walls and the annual honey fair. Also spent many an hour just sitting at the quay watching the world go by. Conwy is a beautiful place and I will be back at some point in the future.

Joanne Roden,

Castleview cottage is a wonderful place to stay, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The cottage is clean & cosy. The location is perfect, there's so much to do& Conwy is a beautiful place....The views are so special, especially at night from the upper terrace. Jackie is a fantastic host, great communication & made check in etc very easy. I'd definitely stay here again next time we visit Conwy. We took a trip to Llandudno which is a very short drive... highly recommend the cable cars there, such a great experience. Thankyou Jackie... we'll be looking forward to our next visit:)x

Kate,

Perfect location to see the sights of Conwy, easy access into town, castle and local areas inc Llandudno. Absolutely breathtaking views from the balcony and the house is literally next door but one to the town walls. Everything you need for a comfortable and peaceful break.

Rebecca ,

We stayed as a couple in this well loved cottage in beautiful Conwy, The location was perfect. Jackie responded quickly & was very helpful, parking was cheap & easy to find. I would certainly choose to stay here again.

johnny,

We stayed at Castleview as a family of 4. My children absolutely loved the cottages warm, welcoming decor and bunk beds. We had a great weekend exploring the town, castle and coastline. Conwy did not disappoint. The cottages terrace was a lovely place to sit back and relax after lots of walking. Great location. We will definitely be returning to Castleview.

Meg Carr,

We are just back from a lovely weekend at castle view cottage. We had a lovely time cottage was clean and cosy exactly like it is in the photos.
We will be returning very soon.

Thank you jackie for a warm welcome

Jayne Leedham ,

I stayed here a couple of weeks back with my husband, daughter and small baby. It couldn’t have been a more perfect set up for us.

The cottage is beautifully set up with all we needed and the location is fantastic. Sitting out on the balcony at night with that view of Conwy was magical.

Thanks again Jackie for such a wonderful stay.

The Marsden Family

Marianne Marsden,

Castleview Cottage, hosted by Jackie, is a delightful property in a superb location! As well as offering two quaint outside seating spaces to enjoy the local views (whilst sipping a glass of wine or warm, morning cuppa), the cottage offers a very comfortable, attractive and practical base from which to explore Conwy and the surrounding area. Jackie's ability and willingness to communicate plenty of helpful information in advance and during our stay was greatly appreciated!

Jacqueline,

I can’t believe it’s been a full week since we left Castleview Holiday Cottage. It was our first time there and we loved it! The views were spectacular. The cottage was lovely to stay in & was exactly what we needed. Conwy is a beautiful town, plenty to see & do, lots of lovely shops, restaurants & pubs. We particularly liked the Bank of Conwy, Liverpool arms & we had an amazing anniversary meal at the Lava (hot stone kitchen). We visited Conwy Castle, Gwyrch Castle (where I’m a celebrity was set in 2020 & 2021) Chester for the day (Cathedral At Heights Tour is a must), we did Bounce Below, The Big Red Zip Wire, Aber Falls waterfall & distillery. We went to Anglesey, Carnarvon, Colwyn Bay, Llandudno, Rhyl & took the tram up the Great Orme. Would love to go back!! Thank you for sharing your holiday home with us! X

Angela Anderson,

Castleview Cottage is everything and more. Everything is catered for in the cottage and was really clean and tidy. The cottage is fantastically placed in the town in the hub of everything including 5 mins walk to a fab real ale pub (the Albion) but is also so quiet. Views are stunning.

We tried many local restaurants and all were amazing and didn’t disappoint. (Alfredos for Italian, the erskine arms amazing choice, saffron for Indian) and also had Sunday lunch at the amazing Bryn Williams Porth Eirias) expensive but so worth it for food and views.

Places to visit that won’t disappoint are nearby Llandudno, Bodnant gardens, I’m a celebrity castle, a walk round the castle walls, the smallest house along the marina and the pub next door. Last but not least a visit to Portmeirion is a must. We would also highly recommend the route around the valleys and Snowdon Jackie suggests in her guestbook including betws-y-coed and the fantastic Swallow Falls. You will not be disappointed with Conwy, the cottage, any pubs or restaurants or Snowdon or any surrounding area!

Sarah Porter,

Between the wonderful cottage and the great location in Conwy it is as good as it gets! We thoroughly enjoyed eating out on the roof top terrace with its views of the village and castle. Well maintained and equipped. We would highly recommend staying there - it was the highlight of our trip to Wales!

Tom (Airbnb),

Castleview is a beautiful cottage in a great location fully equipped with everything you need. Great shower and super comfy bed, loved having the real fire lit during the evening, will defo be back x

Joanne whitfield ,

We booked after visiting Conwy and spotting this super cute little cottage from the Walls - it really is a little gem of a place and we couldn't have been happier with the location. It felt like something special being inside the Castle walls and it simply must have the best view in the Town from either the top deck or the patio. We will be back soon as our weekend went far too quickly!

Sandra,

Castleview Cottage is fabulous. We could not have stayed in a better place for our first family holiday woth our 6 month old boy. Everything was perfect. From the location, to the cottage itself. Highly recommend.

Clemence,

We recently stayed at this beautifully located cosy cottage . It is tastefully decorated and perfect for 2 adults and kids. The house is situated in the most breathtaking spot and is a lovely find in this pretty Welsh town.

Sioban (Airbnb),

Really clean and tidy accomodation that's very comfortable which makes for a lovely little get away in North Wales. walking distance to all shops/pubs/restaurants and Conwy castle. The castle walls offer a lovely walk around the town.
We will be sure to recommend you to family and friends, and we will be back again in the future.

Josh,

Yet another wonderful time at Castleview cottage! We loved our stay! The weather was amazing and cottage as always immaculate! We definitely will be back in the future this time with our two children as our daughter really want to come and sleep on the bunk bed haha.
Thanks again!

Edyta ,

Amazing is the only way to describe jackie's cottage and it's view. Me and my partner had a fabulous 4 night stay, i don't think the views could be improved upon. The area is very quite and beautifull the street the house is on has parking if you want to use it and if you have a small car otherwise i would not park on it i parked just around corner other side of the wall cost was around £20 for 4 days which i thought was really good and there are street cameras so nice and safe. Overall i would highly recommend this accommodation and will definatly return cottage was extremly clean and welcoming.

Richard (Via Airbnb),

Just on our way home after a fantastic week in Conwy. Castleview Cottage did not disappoint. It is a lovely cottage, ideally situated for everything we wanted to do both in town and further a field. Jackie was so helpful in recommending businesses to book activities through and made the process booking the cottage itself so easy. On arrival we found complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits which were much appreciated, the cottage was lovely with a very home from home feel and we’re sad to leave at the end of our week stay. We would highly recommend Castleview Cottage to anyone looking for a holiday in the Conwy area. Thank you Jackie for your hospitality

Debbie Thompson ,

Lovely stay in charming cottage. Weather wasn’t brilliant for our week but still had great time and were completely enamoured by North Wales. Scenery is stunning and lots to do in area - we did tree hoppers at Zip World, indoor climbing at Adventure Parc Snowdonia, boat trip from Anglesey, swimming in Rhyl and tram up Great Orme amongst other things!

Katherine W,

Lovely stay in this comfortable cottage which is in an excellent location. We enjoyed sitting on the balconies people-watching people walking the walls and we loved all the quirky shops just down the road, Johnny Doughs and the bakery on the street parallel to the harbour. We walked in the Conwy mountains (pony hunting), visited Snowdonia, Anglesey and Llandudno and our favourite beach was Penmaenmawr. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Catherine Lovell,

Thank you Jackie for a fantastic family holiday at Castleview Cottage such a lovely cosy place, spotlessly clean + tidy with 2 x amazing outdoor terraces perfect for breakfast / evening drinks. Great location for exploring Conwy you can walk to Morfa beach + harbour we also visited surrounding areas Llandudno + Llangollen. Julia Turton,

We had a lovely break In Conwy during the current hot spell . It was brilliant to be able to return to Castle View and sit on the balconies when we wanted to escape the crowds. The cottage was very clean and we appreciated the safe COVID practices. Thank you , Cyndy

Cyndy,

A lovely cottage with everything you could need for a holiday. Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds and 2 fantastic outside seating areas with lovely views across the town to the castle.
We had a lovely week and will definitely be back. Thanks Jackie.

Mair,

A beautiful and cosy home in the heart of Conwy, with lovely, thoughtful vintage touches and everything considered for visitors' comfort. Thank you for everything!

Laura,

Thank you Jackie, we had a fantastic Easter break at your beautiful cottage. The cottage was very cosy and had everything we needed for our stay and to a very good standard. The extra touches such as welcome tray with tea, coffee and biscuits was appreciated. Conwy town is so lovely with great walks and an amazing butcher, Edward's the bacon baps are amazing. We used the cottage as a base to spend time outdoors with family who live near by, but there are some fantastic places to visit on the coast or in land. I would definitely recommend this cottage, amazing views and host.

Tracy Williams,

Super short walk into Conwy and great base to explore Bangor, Llandudno etc by car. Conwy is a great town for a short break with lots of history, scenery, and bars/few shops etc. Jackie was a great host; responding quickly to a question and super helpful & friendly in communication. The cottage is cosy with lovely character - we loved the open fire and coffee-maker, and the terrace was an absolute highlight, giving a view of the town walls, rooftops, castle and further (I watched the sun rise, and we had drinks outside looking at the evening lights). It was a joy to stay here - totally recommend!

Sarah,

We stayed here for a week in August and were blessed with the best weather we've ever had in Wales. Conwy is one of our favourite places to visit and staying in this gem of a cottage with views out onto the castle walls and across Conwy was brilliant for us (a family of 4, with 2 small boys aged 5 & 7). Sitting on the roof terrace in the morning & evening was a real highlight. The cottage is comfortable and well equipped

Anon,

Fabulous Views and Location. We’ve just finished our break away and have absolutely loved it. Conwy was still under Restrictive covid guidelines which meant we stayed home on evenings and cooked. The kitchen was huge and complimented that. Very spacious living room and upstairs terrace and these helped us to unwind and relax. Easy access to loads of walks and only a 40min drive to Mount Snowdon. Very clean and very warm and cosy. The owner always a phone call away if you need any info or help. 😊

Mr N,

The cottage was a fabulous place within the town walls. Great real ale pub about 100yards away called the Albion. Lovely bakery around the corner also. Conwy is a lovely town and you can do a walk to Conwy mountain from the cottage, which has some stunning views of Snowdonia and the town. Cottage was stylish and had everything you needed. The balconies were great to sit out on and watch the world go by.

Coleen,

Beautiful little property felt like home to home. Brought our 3 month daughter with us. Handy that the property had a travel cot! Jackie was responsive when I asked her questions and check in progress was so quick! Would recommend staying here and we would come again. Conwy is a beautiful place to visit. Thank you for providing us with a great base to relax in.

Rimpi,

This was mine and my fiends first trip to Conwy, we absolutely loved the town and Jackie’s cottage was perfect for our visit! It had plenty of room for us both, and it’s location overlooking the town and castle made our morning tea’s our on the balcony even better! We just wish we’d stayed longer!

Tim (Airbnb),

Thank you for your hospitality Jackie. Castle view cottage was a cosy and charming place to stay during our trip to Conwy. We couldn’t have been happier with the accommodation and location. Your place was gorgeous and I’m so glad we chose to stay there.

Sarah,

This is a cozy home in a perfect location for holidaying in northern Wales. There was plenty of space for our family of four and the view of the town and Castle from the second floor patio was superb. Everything in Conwy was easy walking from the cottage’s front door. Jackie provided ample information in advance of our stay about local attractions and restaurants and details like where to park. We absolutely loved our stay.

Marcia (Airbnb),

Beautiful, well equipped and excellently located little cottage. We especially loved the view of the castle when it was lit up after dark! Plenty to see and do, right on the doorstep.

Mandy,

What a pleasure to stay at castleview cottage. It was home from home.
Everything was clean and pristine.
The biggest joy was sitting outside on the balcony enjoying the view of the town and castle.
Thank you.

john godbolt,

“If you’re looking for a cottage in a central location in Conwy, go for Castle View! We stayed for 3 nights, as a family of 3 and it was perfect. Short stroll into town, every amenity you could want in the cottage itself, fab outdoor space with a wonderful view of the castle. A comprehensive welcome booklet with lots of local information. Jackie was a fab host, responding quickly to our messages. We had a wonderful time.”

Katy,

Thank you very much for letting us stay at your beautiful home. The location was perfect for us, the views were breath taking. Sitting outside on the roof terrace, was a very enjoyable experience. Amazing views across to the castle etc. The house is beautiful inside, the best holiday home I've stayed at. We'll be coming back again soon.

Martin,

Jackie’s cottage is excellent in every way. Centrally positioned, home from home with the added bonus of being part of the very fabric of Conwy’s history, as the cottage is right by some of the castle- wall walk. Communication was so friendly and helpful. We aim to stay again and have recommended Castleview Cottage to others. A great base from which to enjoy Conwy town and the stunning surroundings.

MIchelle (via Airbnb),

Jackie was a great host and the cottage was the perfect base to explore Conway from! Great location and views of the castle! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Sam (via Airbnb),

Loved our stay in Castleview Cottage, it was perfect for our family holiday. The cottage is in a great location for exploring the area. We were very lucky with the weather and was able to enjoy the view from the roof terrace even though it was February. Would recommend the Liverpool Arms for a drink after a long dog walk.

E. Peckett,

Had a great time in Conwy at Jackie' s place. The location is brill. We were travelling with our 2 month old son. The travel cot and other child facilities made travel with a little one much easier. If we visit the area again we will look to stay at castleview.

Michelle (via Airbnb),

Ingrid Schierenberg,

We had a wonderful stay at Castleview Cottage with our three young boys. The setup with bunk beds and a travel cot was perfect, and having castle walls in the backyard was pretty magical. Jackie was very helpful and responsive before, during, and after our stay.

Liz,

Jackie’s cottage is in an excellent location in a beautiful town. You can climb up onto the town walls from the bottom of the street. The place was very clean, the kitchen well equipped, it has lovely views from the balconies at the rear and there is lovely countryside close by. My only regret was that we could not stay longer.

Ameilia (Airbnb),

We had some great and relaxing days at Castleview Cottage. The place definitely held what was promised in the description, I recommend it!

Marieke via Airbnb,

Expect to be wowed by the location of this cottage. Spectacular views from both balconies and within minutes from everything you need. Basically walk out the door and enjoy an amazing walk along the town walls to truly view this historic town and all it has to give. We even got engaged in the garden! We will be back!

Sean via Airbnb,

Stayed for two nights with our Dog (Percy) the cottage was superb and the perfect location for a weekend in Conwy. Amazing Bars and Restaurants are only a short walk away and most seem to prefer that you bring your Dog needless to say he came home spoilt rotton! We would highly recommend The Albion, Watsons Bistro,The Erskine Arms & Bank of Conwy amongst many others that were so close we needn't use the car! Thank you

Jamie Stevenson,

We had a lovely stay in Castleview cottage for our mini-honeymoon. Conwy is a beautiful village and the cottage is right by the castle walls which felt very special. Jackie recommended things to do and places to eat and all were fantastic - particularly The Erskine Arms near the castle. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Conwy!

Rebecca via Airbnb,

A friend and I attended the Conwy Feast on a whim, found Castleview Cottage and the rest is just a memorable weekend. If there is a better location, I can't imagine where it would be. Views are spectacular, tea by the town wall watching the moon come up over the Castle. Business arrangements were flawless as was communications. The rooms are comfortable, kitchen worked out wonderful. Ideal inside and out. Thank you.

Scott,

We spent a lovely few days at the cottage for a wee autumn break. Conwy is a charming town, with the walk around the town walls a must. Would also recommend the Gwydyr Forest for a trek in Snowdonia National Park. The cottage is in a great location and was exactly what we needed - cosy, comfortable and relaxing. Thanks again!

Mike and Amy,

We loved our stay at Jackie's place. As soon as we made the reservation she sent us recommendations for tours, food, shops and more. She was in constant communication with advice on trains, directions etc. The cottage was lovely. It felt like home immediately. It was easy to check in, the space was so clean and comfortable. The view is fantastic of the castle and the medieval wall is literally right outside the door. The wifi was fantastic and the cottage is really quiet but in a great location for touring the town, catching the train or just relaxing. There is a bit of a hill to get to the cottage but we didn't mind, even with our heavy luggage. There are great restaurants, a grocery store, cafes, shops and attractions all in a close walk to the cottage. The cottage was very clean and the furniture was all very comfortable. We would highly recommend to anyone.

Sheri Via Airbnb,

We had a lovely stay at castleview cottage a good base in which to explore this beautiful part of the country parking is limited but its easy to get around via public transport which runs to llandudno every 15 minutes. The castle walls are excellent to walk around and free. Great food and dog friendly at the castle hotel just a stroll away from the cottage plenty of eateries and shops to explore all walking distance. A great location and super comfy bed

Claire Hughes,

Our stay at Castle View was perfect. It is in such a great position within the castle walls. We went for great walks. Walking up Conwy mountain was gorgeous. The view was worth it. We found it a pefect base too to travel around North Wales. We felt at home in the cottage and found Jackie and her husband really friendly.

Cara Cottrell,

Our stay at Castelview cottage in Conwy was great! We so very much enjoyed the town of Conwy with its gorgeous castle and town walls as well as it beautiful view of North Wales! Jackie, thank you for the wonderful opportunity of staying in your wonderful, and very comfy, Castleview Cottage. It gave us the chance to be close to family and in walking distance of everything in the town of Conwy. Not to mention the stairs to access the town walls was just across the street. Again thank you. I may be back.

Juanita

Juanita,

My husband and I spent 5 nights at Castleview Cottage. Perfect location for all we wanted to see in Northern Wales. Conwy is a beautiful little town with lots to see and do. The cottage itself was a wonderful treat and beautifully decorated. The only problem I had with the cottage was watching tv in the corner. Just glad we weren't shut in all day so we didn't have the tv on too much. Thank you for all the nice touches and all the easy directions for entering the house and turning on appliances.

Bonnie,

Stayed over Easter Weekend in the lovely Castleview Cottage - what a gem. So inviting and welcoming from the tea tray left with biscuits for our arrival to the beautiful views from the balcony while having breakfast and the open fire to keep cosy of an evening. We love Conwy and have been staying for the last three years and now we have found Castleview Cottage we will be booking again. We have a teenage girl who was thrilled with the great broadband as well as the dog who enjoys visits to the local watering holes which are most welcoming to four legged friends. Thanks Jackie for your attention to detail and making our stay so enjoyable!

Jo Wiggins,

Had a great time in Conwy, great location and lovely house! Jackie was wonderful and extremely helpful in recommending things to do and see.

We had a wonderful break in Conwy. The cottage was spotlessly clean and was as lovely as the pictures suggest. Jackie was extremely helpful and gave lots of suggestions of things to do. We would like to visit again soon.

Superb cottage in a great location close to town. Cottage has everything you need! We enjoyed a 2 night break which was easily organised by Jackie.
Very quaint, extremely comfortable and reasonably priced!! Thanks!!

Rachel Cooper,

We have just spent a lovely weekend at Castleview Cottage and could not fault it.

The cottage is cosy and has everything needed for a relaxing break. The location is excellent, with great pubs (The Albion was our favourite)and places to eat just minutes away.

Jackie is a pleasure to deal with and made sure that we had everything we needed for a great weekend.

Hope to be back very soon - thank you!

Lynne Hempenstall,

We spent 3 lovely days in Jackie's home and it was an amazing experience. The house was exactly as how it looked liked in the pictures -- very tidy, spacious yet still very cozy. The village ambiance provided just the right relaxing feeling one needs for a quick getaway break. It had nice pubs and restaurants just walking distance from the house that served the best meals, at an affordable price. Jackie was very accessible and highly responsive from pre-booking and made sure everything was set for our visit. Will definitely come back and highly recommend this place for others to visit. Thank you Jackie!

Veronica ,

We spent three nights at Castleview over half term (18-21 October 16), and had a truly wonderful time. We are a family of four, including a six year old and a rather scruffy terrier, and we're looking for somewhere in Conwy that was close to the town and dog friendly. We couldn't have found a better spot. The cottage was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and in the most fantastic location, within the town walls and really close to shops, pubs and the harbour.
The owners Jackie and Jackie, were very helpful from the outset, sending friendly, informative emails regarding our booking, and giving us tips on how best to enjoy the area. As fellow dog owners, they understood how important our furry family member is and told us how dog friendly Conwy can be, giving us a long list of establishments happy to accept her, which saved a lot of time when we visited.
As we were arriving on Tuesday, and they had no booking for Monday night, they even arranged for the cottage to ready early, so we could settle in as soon as we arrived. The cottage had everything you could need for a short break, including all those little things I usually forget, ( condiments, washing up liquid etc...) we had milk and biscuits waiting for our first cuppa, and logs to get the fire going, bliss!
Conwy is a super little town, very friendly and full of interesting shops, nice places to eat and all very accessible. We walked the castle walls, visited nearby Llandudno and walked our poor dog for miles around the beautiful countryside. The trip was just not long enough though, so we will need to return soon, and very much hope to use Castleview as our base when we return.

Jenny Paterson ,

We had a lovely stay in Conwy. The cottage was just what we wanted and had some excellent views across the town. Jackie was very helpful and everything about the trip went extremely smoothly.

Matt,

The castle view cottage is just perfect. The location is amazing. Jackie is so responsive. And Conwy is a gem. By all means: stay here. Don't miss Snowdonia!

Andrew,

Jackie's cottage is in a lovely location and was a pleasure to stay in. The cottage was great, and especially nice to sit out in the sun for breakfast. The views of Conwy and the bay are stunning. Everything was ready for our arrival and the stay was such as ease.

Dominic,

What a lovely cottage. Beautiful and right in the center of town. A perfect spot to walk the castle walls or take a stroll along the Marine walk. The cottage is cozy and as beautiful as the pictures. A real home away from home where you can relax and enjoy the views from the back patio! Highly recommended.

Amber,

A lovely house in an extremely convenient location. Lots to see and do in Conwy and the surrounding areas, and Jackie was so helpful with her hints and tips. She made the stay very easy!

Lucy,

Perfect accommodation in a perfect location. Jackie was a great host and communication was always quick and helpful. Would certainly recommend for anyone thinking of visiting Conwy.

Phil G,

Had a fantastic time at Castleview Cottage. All was as described and the views are just amazing. The weather was turned on for us so we made use of the balcony too. Thanks Jackie, highly recommended.

Anna Smith,

The cottage was exactly as shown on this site - it was quite delightful with the most beautiful setting and views especially from the upstairs bedroom! The balconies looked lovely but sadly it was rainy when we visited so we did not make use of them but maybe next time? Very comfortable and what a great location for walking all over the beautiful village of Conwy. The residents of the village were some of the most friendly people I've ever come across so we had a wonderful time. Thank you!

Lovely cottage, wonderful town
We found castle view cottage to be very comfortable and homely. The views are amazing, the kitchen and bathroom are a great size, clean, modern and fully equipped. Being so close to the historic walls was a unique experience. Conwy is a delightful town with plenty of interesting shops and places to eat and drink. We visited the harbour every day as it was only a five minute walk away and a great place to watch the world go by. We had never been to Wales before but we couldn't have made a better choice and will certainly be back. Our dog had a brilliant time too. The owners were very good with very clear communication and they made us feel very welcome.

Carol,

The cottage was fantastic, very clean and spacious, enjoyed the gift pack! the location was amazing, Conwy is a beautiful town with amazing castle. Would definitely stay there again

Mark,

Jackie was an excellent host and proactively gave us all the information we needed about the cottage and the surroundings. The cottage was beautiful, peaceful and quiet. We were there with two kids (1 and 3 years old) and the sit out was a place we could enjoy our evenings after the kids were down. I would recommend this to people who are looking at exploring the area and people like us who used this as a base to explore Snowdonia. If you are only going to visit Conwy - then this place is bang in the middle and you really dont need a car! We hope to be back here someday.

Mathew Joseph,

“Beautiful Cottage with Everything Included to Completely Enjoy Our Time in North Wales”
We spent part of our honeymoon at the Castleview Cottage and in North Wales. Everything was great - the cottage was beautiful and included everything we needed to completely enjoy our stay and North Wales was absolutely beautiful to visit. We would absolutely love to spend more time in North Wales and would definitely choose to stay again at Castleview Cottage.

TripAdvisor,

We absolutely loved the cottage! It is cosy and welcoming. The kitchen is well stocked with household essentials and Jackie even left some biscuits and tea for refreshments when we arrived.

The cottage has the most amazing views of Conwy - feet from the castle walls, down to the castle and across the bay. I think the balcony made our entire stay - having bubbly at night, and breakfast and coffees in the morning sun!

We can't recommend the cottage enough! Enjoy your stay :)

Asbournes,

Jackies cottage is fantastic. Just a very short walk from the train station and nestled in the corner of the castle wall. Super clean, well stocked kitchen with tons of natural light, nice towels and a comfortable bed. The decorations were spot on and made the cottage super cozy and beachy. Loved it! Nice touches were the fire log and biscuits and milk provided. Lots of books, dvds and information about the area and things to do. If you want to stay in Conwy and explore the coast of Wales I would highly recommend this cottage. On top of that Jackie accommodated our last minute booking and request for late check out. She was very easy to get a hold of. Missing the cute cottage already.

Amazing and characterful cottage
This property is ideally located for exploring Conwy and and lovely area surrounding it in North Wales. Couldn't have wished for a better place to stay.
Thank you!

HomeAway,

SUCH CARE AND ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND COMFORT
Perfectly matched the description. This cottage was most comfortable and easy to live in. Loads of storage and additional extras; the owners obviously care very much about the experience of the "holiday maker". Loved it to bits. The owners should be very proud.

Location absolutely central; much to do and see within either walking distance or a short drive away. Would like to re-visit Conwy during the spring or summer.

Thank you to the owners!

TripAdvisor ,

Lovely cottage in a great location. Easy access to all local attractions. Would recommend to any visitors to Conwy. Fantastic base to explore North Wales

Jo & Cath,

Delightful Cottage
The cottage was lovely, well equipped and just as described. It was clean and well looked after. Communication with Jackie when booking was good and her communication was excellent. We fell in love with Conwy and the surrounding area - there was so much to do. We loved walking Conwy town walls, visiting the castle, suspension bridge and Plas Mawr. We also enjoyed a trip into Snowdonia, visiting aqueducts in the Llangollen/Chirk area, and a trip to Anglesey as well as visiting the Great Orme via cable car. Due to having a dog and two children we didn't eat out much but cooked in the cottage it treated ourselves to local fish and chips.

OwnersDirect,

Fantastic cottage in perfect location
Highly recommend this cottage. Lovely decor, well maintained and spotlessly clean. Comfy beds, open fire and proximity to excellent pubs and restaurants make this the perfect spot for a relaxing break. Nice welcome touches too, with tea, coffee and biscuits waiting for us :-

Philip H ,

We've just got back from a week at Castleview cottage and could easily have stayed another, it's a lovely little cottage with a home from home feeling to it in every room, the view from the roof terrace is amazing & especially at night with the castle all lit up. There's lots to do in and around Conwy with visits to the castle, plas mawr house, aberconwy house and lovely walk to Conwy marine where there's a beach, an hour's drive away is Black rock sands (Porthmadog) where you can drive onto the sands (take a packed lunch or bbq as you can stay on the beach till 8pm). Back in Conwy theres lots of lovely coffee shops and a trip to the Albion pub just round the corner is a must visit, with a week of sunshine this topped off a fantastic week away and would love to come back again, Castleview cottage is a little gem within the walls of a Conwy.

Thomas H,

Ruth D,

A haven inside the town wall
Castleview cottage has been sympathetically modernised and is furnished attractively. The owner was very helpful and friendly and answered my questions regarding the cottage swiftly and accurately.
The cottage was clean on arrival and it was nice to have useful basics provided such as washing up liquid, dishcloth, tea towels and toilet paper along with tea, coffee, milk and biscuits for refreshments on arrival.
We particularly enjoyed sitting on the roof terrace for breakfast and pre-dinner drinks and nibbles whilst interacting with some of the visitors walking the town walls.
We ate out on one occasion at Amelie's in the High Street and, although there was only one vegetarian dish to choose from, it was the best meal out I have had for some time.
I would recommend Conwy as a great base for visiting scenic Snowdonia and Anglesey and, closer to home, we also had a lovely day at Llandudno using the tram and cable car to visit The Great Orme.

HomeAway,

Jackie...I am sorry that we did not include a note in the book, as our stay was absolutely the best (well except for the weather on several days!). But the apartment is perfect and it could not have been better in any respect. Conwy is well located for forays into all areas of North Wales, and the apartment was perfectly equipped for our needs. The location within this splendid small town, the castle in the distance, one of the best "wall walks" in Europe.... What more could a person want? Thanks so much for contributing to our happy week in Wales!

Madeleine G,

We really enjoyed our stay in Castleview Cottage. The cottage is very pretty, beautifully decorated and maintained and well equipped - we particularly appreciated the open fire and the lovely hot shower! Jackie was very helpful and prompt in replying to emails and flexible in enabling us to check in early on our arrival day. Castleview Cottage is really well located, very near Conwy Station and a short walk from shops, cafes and restaurants. Being able to walk up Conwy Mountain straight from the cottage was a real treat. Highly recommended.

Ruth W,

Just got back from a fantastic stay. The cottage was brilliant everything you could ask for plus more, lovely and clean well maintained.

The location was brilliant a 2 minute walk into town and to the train station and bus stop. The roof terrace was brilliant at night the view was great seeing the castle all lit up and the castle turret was realy spooky.

Would highly recommended this cottage to everyone.

Thanks for a brilliant stay
hope to stay again soon
Ruth and family.

Ruth,

Something special

Stylishly decorated, clean, well equipped, warm and comfortable cottage. The three outdoor areas, balcony, terrace and turret all added to the attraction of this idyllic well maintained cottage.

Jackie was very helpful and accommodating in helping us to arrange our last minute booking and we would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending the cottage to anyone. Lots of nice little extras.

It was perfectly located just inside the castle walls and we were able to do walks around the town and up the mountains straight from the cottage door without using the car.

We will definately return. Two nights is not enough!

Keith and Diane Webb and family ,

Perfect base to explore the North Wales area
A well located and stylishly decorated cottage within the walls of Conwy town. We stayed here over Easter weekend on a trip to climb Snowdon (30 minutes drive). The cottage is clean, well maintained and is a recommended stay.

Tom ,

lovely cottage and great location
Just got back from a 3 night stay at castle view cottage and really didnt want to leave! the cottage is lovely and has everything that you would need, Jackie the owner also leaves lots of information about nice places to visit, walks restaurants etc which was very helpfull. Conwy was gorgeous with its cobbled streets and views of the castle and quay, we will definatly be returning, we went to the groes inn one night which is a little out of the way but well worth a visit, great food, atmosphere and service. would definatly recommend castle view cottage for a great holiday x

Amy ,

An excellent holiday home

Everything about Castle View was excellent. It was a real home from home. The furnishings were all beautiful, the kitchen was great and the terraces and 'hidden garden' were the icing on the cake! The cottage was spotlessly clean and very well maintained. It felt comfortable as soon as we got there.
Jacki was very helpful and the booklets in the cottage provided good, up to date information. (Not always the case) We would have no hesitation in recommending this property to any-one and if we return to Conwy we would definately re-book. Castle view is so near to all amenities yet in a quiet cul de sac. The town itself is delightful with many attractions. Plas Mawr is well worth a visit and you must do the wall walk and look down on Castle View. The whole area is full of natural beauty and Castle View makes a brilliant base to which to return at the end of the day!

Jenny A ,

Fabulous location, marvelous views and easy check in
Cottage was idyllic and very clean and comfortable. Owner very efficient with pre-stay organisation and what has to be one of the best showers in the world!!! Roof terrace views stunning and easy access to town centre and transport links. Had a great break - highly recommended!

Comment: Conwy and Castle View Cottage were the highlight of our long journey through Wales!

We sat in the morning with tea and in the evening with the wine on the terrace at the highest point of the old town and had a wonderful view over the castle and the strait - and many interesting conversations with visitors who walked over the city wall!

Everything can be done on foot, pubs, shops and monuments are within easy reach, the house is very pleasant and comfortable.
