This beautifully charming cottage is the perfect place to get away from it all, offering character and comfort in a truly unique location. Completely renovated and newly furnished, the accommodation features central heating, modern appliances and conveniences within the setting of a 200 year old stone cottage.
Ideally located in a sought after location within the town walls, you can stroll along medieval cobbled streets lined with places to eat and drink. And there are other heritage sites to discover like Plas Mawr, a splendid Elizabethan mansion and Aberconwy House, a 14th Century merchant's house.
The unique roof terrace makes the most of the panoramic views of the Castle and Medieval Town. Perfect for some al-fresco dining, the terrace catches the sun for most of the day and is a great vantage point to enjoy the sun setting in the evening. There is also a shared outside space to the rear, which features a secret decked patio area within a 700 year old Castle Tower!
Inside, the lounge features a lovely open fire and is nicely decorated to reflect the nautical heritage of this former Fisherman's cottage. There is a large sofa and two chairs and the dining table seats 4 comfortably. For entertainment there is a flat screen TV, DVD player, CD player, Roberts Revival Radio and a BOSE soundock system with bluetooth. A selection of DVDs, novels, guide books and board games are provided for guest's use and we have super fast fibre Wi-Fi broadband for internet connection and a Smart TV with Netflix and digital live streaming.
The light and airy kitchen benefits from a breakfast bar and full length feature windows to make the very most of our unique outlook over the Medieval walls. It is fully equipped with electric fan oven, full sized gas hob, built in fridge with freezer compartment, toaster, kettle, and a fabulous expresso machine to enjoy a coffee enjoying the view from the breakfast bar, or in fine weather, on the breakfast deck off the kitchen.
Upstairs, the main bedroom features a cast iron double bed with memory foam mattress and offers plenty of strorage with a triple wardrobe. The second bedroom has an adult sized bunk bed with limited storage and a door leading directly to the roof terrace. There is a newly-fitted shower room with extra wide shower compartment, washbasin and wc.
We welcome families and a travel cot, stair guard and high chair is available, together with a toy box, board games, a small library of family DVD's and plenty of plastic cups, bowls and plates for the little ones.
All heating and utilities are included in the rental cost and everything is set ready for your arrival. Beds are made up with quality 200 count 100% cotton bed linen and comfortable throws. We provide basic essentials for a self-catered holiday including tea, coffee, sugar, washing up liquid, toilet paper, tea towels and dishcloths. We also provide a complimentary long burning eco-log for the fire.
