Located on The High Street, Sunday Roasts are served all day (so a good option if you want to eat in the evening).  Our recommendation is to eat in the bar area for a more relaxed vibe.  Booking is essential and the food is a very high standard.  Dogs welcome.

Just a short stroll from Castleview Cottage and a very popular gastro pub.  We recommend ordering the Cauliflower cheese as an extra side as it’s so delicious!  Dogs welcome.

A hidden gem on a side road under the walls, and this cute little Bistro is just a stone’s throw from Castleview Cottage.  Always a firm favourite with our guests.  Closes at 4pm Sundays.  Dog friendly.  01492 709243

If you fancy a drive out to a nearby beautiful little village, this is a great option.  A friendly, family run pub, all home cooked food and a firm favourite with locals.  It’s around a 10 min drive from Castleview Cottage, and after lunch you can explore the village, admire the beautiful views, and work off some of the dinner!  Dogs welcome.
