Castle View is a Fisherman's cottage in an amazing location overlooking the Castle with incredible views from our very own roof terrace.
It's got to be one of the best located property's in the whole of North Wales, set within the walls of the Medieval town of Conwy, but the splendid mix of old and new makes this ia truly special holiday destination.
Just steps away from the Town, the cottage is deally located on a side street with the advantage of no passing traffic, and even shares a secret decked sitting area tucked away within one of King Edward I's Castle towers. Conwy's most famous attraction is of course it's dramatic 700 year old Castle, and our unique roof terrace is the perfect spot to site and relax and take in the view.
The cottage is a perfect romantic retreat for couples or families, and the pretty accommodation features a spacious lounge/dining area with a cosy open fire and a light and airy breakfast kitchen with full length windows to make the most of the lovely outlook over the ancient town walls. Upstairs there is a spacious double bedroom, a shower room and a bunk bed room with direct access to a spacious roof terrace overlooking the spectacular Castle and Medieval Town.
Perfect for some al-fresco dining, the terrace catches the sun for most of the day and is a great vantage point to enjoy a drink watching the sun setting over the mountains in the evening. For a more private outdoor sitting area, we have a breakfast deck off the kitchen which leads is a secret decked patio area within a 700 year old Castle Tower!
The tiny town of Conwy is a listed UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best examples of a medieval walled town in Europe. With a vibrant artist's community and a number of world-class heritage attractions, including the historic harbour and Telford's suspension bridge, it is a delightful all year round destination.
Wander down to the quayside and soak up the nautical atmosphere - Conwy is a popular sailing centre and still home to a traditional mussel fishing fleet. Find the Smallest House in Britain, enjoy crabbing off the pier, or enjoy a cruise along the estuary. Upstream there's an RSPB Nature Reserve, with guided walks, or walk to the wide sandy beach at Conwy Morfa.
Conwy is an ideal base to explore the region's magnificent mountains, beaches, coast and countryside. A huge range of outdoor pursuits are on offer, including walking, climbing, biking, boating and golfing.
It is an excellent choice for non-drivers so leave the car at home! There are great public transport links to get you out and about and the railway station is only a minute's walk away from the Cottage. Regular open top bus tours link with the Victorian resort of Llandudno and river cruises and water taxis run in season.
